The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Polly Castor
I’ve painted my whole life, but my artwork really took off when I started painting ideas, instead of people, places, or things. I love to start with an abstract idea, and then conceptually represent it. The first idea I painted was “confidence,” followed by summing up the essence of “July.” After that, I was hooked. I feel energized when I paint in this fresh and thoughtful way, and the result is very creative, authentic, and engaging.
